Course Description

*All First Aid courses include CPR and AED This is for individuals who have already booked and paid for Part 1 (the online portion) of the course separately, and are now ready to book Part 2 of the course (the in-class portion). The online portion MUST be completed to attend Part 2. Part 2 is done in-class with the focus being on demonstration, practice and evaluation of the skills section requirement for certification. Comprehensive course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Cancellation Policy

The following outlines our cancellation policy. By registering and paying for a course you agree to the cancellation policy of K Squared First Aid Training Ltd. We reserve the right to make any changes and updates to this policy. All refunds issued for a course registration will not include the payment processing fee ($0.30 + 2.9% of course fee) incurred by K squared First Aid Training Ltd. It is understood that the use of the term refund (full or partial) is the course fee minus the payment processing fee. Course cancellation made five days before the scheduled course - a full refund will be issued. Course cancellation three to five days prior to course date will incur a 30% (of course fee) administration fee. Course cancellations within 72 hours will not be issued a refund. K Squared First Aid Training Ltd. will provide a credit to attend another course within thirty days of the original course date. If the new scheduled course date is missed this will result in a loss of the course fee and no further credit will be provided. As emergencies and serious life events do happen, we will on a case by case basis, and at our sole discretion, issue a credit for paid course fee to be applied to the same course later. This credit will be valid for thirty days of the initial registered course. Any date after 30 days may result in a complete loss of the fees paid. If you cancel the rescheduled class, then the credit will not be valid and course fees credited will be lost. Blended Learning courses – for any Red Cross blended learning courses, once the online section is in progress a 50% refund will be issued. If you are later than thirty minutes (from start time) for your course, it will be the sole discretion of the instructor to allow entry. If the instructor deems it too late, it is agreed that this will be a loss in course fee. If you do get in touch with us (email) about being late and a reason as to why, K Squared First Aid Training Ltd. may allow late entry or credit of fees paid to another course within 30 days. All fees paid will be placed as a credit on file and not be issued as a refund. All correspondence is to be done by email. Any abusive or threatening behavior towards staff of K Squared First Aid Training Ltd. is not tolerated. We want to be fair and open to discussion, but this must be conducted in a professional manner.
